best and worst.

The best part of handing out candy to trick-or-treaters last night? The little girl with suuuuper long pigtails who couldn’t quite say “trick or treat (tishacheet)” OR “halloween (ha-a-een)”, who looked curiously into our house and said, “That’s your living room! That IS!” and then, craning her neck a little further, “That’s your kitchen too!”

The worst part of handing out candy to trick-or-treaters last night? The multiple women who were collecting candy for the babies they were carrying. Really?! Also tied for worst place were the little swindlers who thought they were scamming us by taking “a piece for my baby brother at home.” Uh-huh. Wipe that smirk off your face, kid.

I am attempting to capture the events, non-events, and thoughts about each, as they occur in the increasing busy-ness of life. As my professors always said "You might want to write this down." Who knows what could turn out to be important?

What do you think?
